SPARE PARTS FOR MK1, MK2 & MK3
As a long time Capri owner (since 1981) & Capri Car Club of NZ member (since 1982) & genuine Capri enthusiast & Club Librarian/Historian - I will try to help and supply Capri owners with spares & information for their vehicles. Unfortunately, many parts are no longer available, and as my magicians licence expired many years ago, 20 uncracked crashpads, 16 GXL headlights, complete sets of 7 1/2” RS wheels & fishnet Recaros are not in my hat !!!
However a wide range of bits n pieces are held by me from the smallest clip through to doors & interior trim. A lot of these items are very second hand, but from time to time I have new items.
So what’s available ?? Well I can’t list everything but here’s a small selection:
Front guards MK3 – some rust but original Ford items & quite serviceable
Dash dials instruments – 6 pod – MK2 & MK3
Headlights – MK2 – used & NEW – genuine items
Auto gearbox – suit 3.0 x 2 - Borg Warner & Ford C3
Steering racks – no power units

Grilles – MK2
Side & rear Glass MK2/3
Door skins MK2 or 3 – these are in good order, inner frame was rotten

Door cards & rear side panels MK2 & 3 – various conditions
Rear hatch panels – the large plastic pieces that fit between the rear shocks.

Sick of your parcel tray looking like weet-bix board with broken edges.
I have remanufactured Mark 3 rear parcel trays from a very good original. A lot stronger than the original and can easily take a set of heavy speakers if you wish. $210.00
The other item I have are the moulds to refurbish Consul Capri Front top strut rubbers if they are cracked. I need the original ones to allow for the new rubber inserts to be formed.
I hope to do some more reproduction parts to compliment what others are doing!
