The summer camp for 2011 is being held in Hawkes Bay on Friday 11th March, Saturday 12th March and Sunday 13th March, 2011.

The base for the camp is the Arataki Holiday Camp in Havelock North. They have a range of accomodation options at present, but are filling fast as the Hawkes Bay has many events on at this time of the year...

Wheels on Windsor (WOW) car show is on Sunday 13th March

· Indoor heated pool
· Games room, table tennis and pool table
· Crazy golf
· Library
· Adventure playground and tiny tots area and skateboard ramp

Not sure what I can update about Summer Camp......

It is at the same spot as last year.  Booking is up to the individual.  Weekend entails loads of fun exciting roads, views, special spots and of course our beautiful Hawkes Bay weather (no thunder storm this time hopefully, although we farmers will love the rain!!).  The weekend is Friday 11th March through to Sunday 13th March.  Sunday is the wheels on Windsor (which is a possibility to do if people are keen, heaps of other ideas to fill in a morning, so not a definite at this stage) other than that everything we do (other than eat and drink) will be different to last year, that is for sure.  Got some good stuff lined up!

We have just booked (upgraded form the caravan to a tourist flat) and there is plenty of accommodation but I would urge people to book if the are interested as they did advise me there is a party booked (in the conference room) there so not sure if this will fill up the rooms or not.  They have all types of accommodation available as per the website (I think you put this on the Capri website last time).

Perhaps it would be a good idea for people to let me know once they have booked so I will know who's coming and can then get people to have some input in our Summer Camp Weekend.

I'm not sure what you need so just pick bits you need and ask any questions if I have missed anything.

Becs and Warren have offered to co-ordinate some weekend events, but the format will be the same as other Capri events, you book and pay for things as individuals, rather than bookings by the organiser...

With great vineyards, world class activities along Marine Parade etc, it will be a great weekend for all those who attend.
